In the middle of the night I woke up to Benn coming back to bed. He said, "It's ok. I haz a bucket."

I didn't know what he was talking about.

This morning when I was in the kitchen continuing my endless rounds of antibiotics, Benn stood in the doorway, hugging a big red bucket in front of him.

He really did have a bucket!

He had woken up at 3am with food poisoning.

I'm not a big You Tube fan, but I've been thinking about this video for days. It just breaks my heart.

From the dude who actually ate that 20 pound burger from Denny's Beer Barrel Pub:

What does this do to your body?

It acts as an insulator — like wall insulation. If you didn’t have insulation in your walls, it would be colder in your house or it would be hotter in your house. You’d experience up and down temperature changes. But by insulating the walls, you can regulate heat and you can regulate the temperature. You go up into the attic with full insulation and nothing closing it off — it’s quite hot up there no matter what the temperature is outside. So that’s what it does to your body.

Wtf! Here's the rest of the interview.

I can't even begin to imagine it. No one I went with could barely finish the 2 pound burger.

Rodney is open for real. His hours will eventually be 7am-11pm. And he's going to be on the Food Network next month.

Honestly, I'd just twitter that all day long if I had less restraint.

I wish I were friends with, in no particular order:

1. A real mechanic.
2. Someone who was building an awesome shopping cart site that will revolutionize online shopping.
3. A ninja assassin.
4. A real electrician.
5. A real psychic.

So I'm returning the rental car this morning, and I overhear the sales people in the office:

Woman: How much is a Playstation?
Guy: $400.
Woman: WHAT??? Video games are NOT THAT IMPORTANT! You're almost 30!
Guy: How much did your jeans cost? $200?
Woman: They DID NOT cost $200! They were more like $180.

When the woman was ranting about video games she kind of glanced at me, as if to get some solidarity.

I didn't speak, because I would have said, "Dude, don't look at me. I just raced some dude in Panama on Mario Kart before I came here."

The crowd was awesome last night for a sucky, rainy night.

I feel like I didn't really get a chance to talk to anyone and in some cases not even say hi. Saw a whole lot of people I hadn't seen in a while, too.

I guess people still like art in this town! And it's always great to see people support each other and show curiosity for new works and ideas.

It really did kind of blow me away.
